Kerry’s very own football star and now fashion designer Paul Galvin and Today FM’s Mayo born DJ Louise Duffy tied the knot and partied into the 2015/2016 wee hours in style at Belleek House Castle, Ballina Co. Mayo yesterday evening where I was asked to entertain wedding guests, young and old alike with my live caricatures session!!!
Louise ‘Galvin’ stood with her finished personal caricature towards the end of the evening.
I have to thank Belleek House wedding manageress Mia for showing me around the wonderful dungeon & galley room areas that make for a fabulous atmosphere for both wedding parties and entertainers such as myself!
Karen wanted to give an anniversary gift that was different, unique and special and so commissioned this very honest black & white pencil sketch and presented the finished framed portrait to her parents before the weekend!!!
Such pencil portraits are very reasonably priced and are quite quick to carry out when a booking is taken, and should your budget and time restraints be an issue this style is ideal.
Áine & Damien invited me to carry out my live caricature entertainment at their wedding reception party and who should pop over but Munster and Irish International Rugby Legend Donncha O’Callaghan as Damien played for under 19’s on the Irish International team.
I presented the newly weds with a family caricature including their two fab daughters Massey and Ruby.
Thanks to all the staff and management also at The Heritage Golf & Spa Hotel in County Laois.
I’ll be exhibiting at the Punchestown Wedding Fair on 16th & 17th May as it promises to be one of the countries largest wedding exhibitions by far, and guest host speaker “Franc” will certainly entertain as only he knows how!
Looking forward to meeting all my fellow exhibitors and the public alike!!!
There was a great turn out at The Hogan Suite, Croke Park for the Under The Mask Grand Ball where I was delighted to be part of the entertainment, along with guest speaker ‘Bressie’ to raise awareness for teenage mental health in Ireland.
Special thanks to organisers John and Sam Osborne, only 17, and all the staff and organisers who worked tirelessly into the early hours.
I was at Athlone Town Shopping Centre today where the Mothers Day weekend celebrations started with fun and beauty treatments, and of course my particular style “marking” the weekend for mother and daughter alike!
Thanks to Frieda and Shirley for organising the Mothers Day weekend caricature event.
